2547 Higher Education Law

The law of higher education has been published in the Official Gazette in Turkey on 6 November 1981. The purpose of this law is to define the goals and principles pertaining to higher education and  to  establish  principles,  related  to  the  functioning,  duties,  authority,  and responsibilities in  connection with education, research, publication, teaching  staff, students and other personnel of institutions of higher education and their governing bodies.
